What this website knows about a visit. The apps have policies of their own, listed below.

In short

The pages of this website set no cookies, use no analytics service and load nothing from other sites. Like every web server, ours keeps a log of the requests it answers. That log is all the site knows about a visit.

What the server records

For each request the server writes one line to its log: the internet (IP) address the request came from, the time, the address of the page or file, and what the browser says about itself. The log is kept for about three months and then deleted.

What the log is used for

  • Counting visits: how many there were and which pages were read.
  • Protecting the server: a network that keeps asking for pages that do not exist is blocked from the site automatically. The address ranges that search engines publish for their own crawlers are never blocked.

The log stays on the server, which the developer runs. It is not passed on to anybody.

Older pages

Some older pages of the Activity Tracker, which exist in 17 languages, remember the language you chose in your browser's own storage. That choice stays in your browser and is not sent to the server.

The apps' own policies

Each app has a privacy policy of its own, which says what that app stores and sends:
