MyMeasureWorks: privacy policy

What MyMeasureWorks stores, what can leave your device, and how to reach us.

Last updated: October 2026

Introduction

Enlyzr ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information MyMeasureWorks stores, where it is kept, and why the app asks for the permissions it declares.

Information the app stores

MyMeasureWorks turns your phone into a set of measuring instruments. What you measure and set up is stored on your device, in the app's private storage:

  • Measurements and sessions: the readings you take, with the conditions they were taken under (device, sensor, rate, calibration age, reference and method). Quick measurements are kept for 24 hours; sessions you name are kept until you delete them.
  • References, calibrations and baselines: the reference values, calibrations and baselines you create.
  • Exports: when you export your sessions, the app writes a JSON file in its private storage and hands the content to the Android share sheet. Where it goes is your choice: the app itself sends it nowhere.

We do not collect email addresses, contacts or anything else that identifies you, and the app has no account or sign-in.

Permissions and what leaves your device

MyMeasureWorks has no Android INTERNET permission, no network code for sending data, and no accounts, no analytics and no telemetry. There is no network path out of the app. Export is a share, on your instruction.

The app asks for each permission at the moment an instrument needs it. It declares these:

  • Camera: used by the camera-based instruments: the Flicker / PWM meter, Solar siting, Sky quality meter, Photogrammetry, Colorimetry, Stroboscope, Display measurement, Mirror, Loupe and IR remote tester. Camera images are processed on the phone.
  • Location (fine and approximate): used by the GNSS Instrument for satellite and position data, and by instruments that record a measurement against position, such as the Network walk test and Measurement Maps. Location is read on the phone and stored only in your measurements.
  • Wi-Fi state and Wi-Fi state change: used by the Network walk test and Wi-Fi RTT to read the signal of nearby access points and to start Wi-Fi scans. The app reads signal figures; it does not use the Wi-Fi connection to send data.
  • Nearby Wi-Fi devices: used for the same Wi-Fi readings on Android versions that require this permission. It is declared as never used to work out your location.
  • Bluetooth scan: used by the Unwanted-tracker scan and the BLE path-loss estimator to listen to Bluetooth Low Energy advertisements nearby. It is declared as never used to work out your location.
  • Bluetooth connect: used by the instruments that connect to an external Bluetooth sensor to read its values.
  • Bluetooth and Bluetooth admin: the older permissions that do the same on Android 11 and earlier. The app does not use Bluetooth to send your data anywhere.
  • NFC: used by the NFC characterisation instrument to read a tag you hold to the phone: its type, identifier and content.
  • Phone state: used by the Cellular Lab and nothing else, to read signal strength, service state and the cell information the phone reports. It reads no identifier with this permission: not the IMEI, not the subscriber ID, not the phone number, not call state.
  • High sampling rate sensors: used by the instruments that read the accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer at the fastest rate the phone allows, such as the Vibration analyser.

Everything these permissions let the app read stays on the phone, in your measurements, unless you export it yourself.

Data storage and backup

The app stores its data in its private storage on your device. The app allows Android backup and sets no exclusions, so if you have Android backup turned on, the data in the app's private storage (your sessions, references, calibrations and baselines) may be included in your Google backup and in device-to-device transfers, as Android decides.

Third-party services

MyMeasureWorks integrates no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking services, and the app does not send information to third parties. The only copy that can leave your device is one you make yourself by exporting, and the Android backup described above, if you have it turned on.

Children's privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or from any other user.

Data deletion

You can delete the data stored on your device by:

  • Clearing the app's data through your device's Settings > Apps > MyMeasureWorks > Clear Data
  • Uninstalling the application from your device

Either one removes the data on your device. If Android backup is turned on, the backed-up copy is managed through your device's backup settings. A file you exported and shared is held by the place you shared it to.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date of this policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
