Introduction
Enlyzr ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information MyCoachWorks stores, where it is kept, and what can leave your phone. It follows the app's own Privacy & data screen.
Information the app stores
MyCoachWorks is an app for team-sport coaches. Everything you enter is kept on your phone, in the app's private storage:
- Players, parents and guardians: the squad with names, shirt numbers, dates of birth, positions, availability, and the contacts of parents and guardians that you choose to enter.
- Photos: a player's photo is stored only when consent for it is recorded. Without it the player is shown as initials. The app also stores club crests and photographs of your own exercise diagrams.
- Notes and voice recordings: the notes and observations you write, and the voice notes you record.
- Training and matches: sessions, attendance, fixtures, lineups, goals, cards, substitutions, ratings, and the competitions and results you type in.
- Consent record: for each player, whether you have recorded consent for storing data, for photographs and for publishing.
- Settings: your language, colours and top-bar choices.
We do not receive any of this. The app has no account and no server of ours to send it to.
Permissions and what leaves your device
Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO). The app asks for the microphone only for voice notes: when you hold the microphone button and speak, the recording is stored on your phone as a note, or attached to a match event. It records only while you hold the button. The recording is not sent anywhere.
No internet permission. The app has no Android internet permission and never connects to the internet. The only thing the app opens on the web is the link to our website on its About screen, and that is opened by your browser.
What leaves the phone is only what you export or back up yourself:
- Backups are a single file with every club, team, player and note, including photos and recordings. You save it where you choose: your Drive, a computer or a USB stick.
- Exports of a team as JSON or CSV, match report PDFs, team handover files and drill packs. Data exports never include photos or recordings. A file with players' data is protected with a password the app generates.
- Export register: every export, backup and match report is listed under Privacy & data with its date, who it was for and its password. The register stays on your phone.
- Diagnostic report: contains counts and versions, never names.
Once a file has left the app, what happens to it depends on where you put it and whom you give it to. Send the password by a different route than the file.
Backup by Android
The app turns Android's automatic backup off (allowBackup="false"). Its data is not included in your device's Google backup or in device-to-device transfers. Use the app's own Backup & restore to keep a copy.
Third-party services
MyCoachWorks does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. It has no user accounts and does not send any information to third parties.
Children's privacy
The app is used by coaches, and the players it records are often children. It is not meant to be used by children themselves. We do not collect information about anyone: the data stays on the coach's phone and is under the coach's control. A player's photo is stored only with recorded consent, and a handover to another coach can leave out parents' contacts, photos, recordings and observations. The coach is responsible for having the consent of players and their parents or guardians to store their data.
Data deletion
- Erase a player permanently from the player editor. Deleting a player first hides the player so that past seasons still add up; the Diagnostics screen can erase what was deleted more than a year ago, together with its photographs and recordings.
- Clear the app's data through your device's Settings > Apps > MyCoachWorks > Storage > Clear data, or uninstall the app. Either one removes the data on your phone.
- Backup and export files you saved are yours to delete wherever you stored them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date of this policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
